Kursk Games

INTRODUCTION

We are pleased to inform you that each year recognized Medical Universities in Russia take turns to host the intervarsity games. The baton has now been passed to our University, KURSK STATE MEDICAL UNIVERSITY.

This grand event would be held from 16th to 18th April 2010 at the various Sports Halls of KURSK STATE MEDICAL UNIVERSITY, RUSSIA.

This event is organized by the Kursk Games 2010 committee with the help from Kursk Malaysian Student Association (KMSA) and representatives of Kursk State Medical University (KSMU)

This annual sports event comprises numerous sport events such as

  • futsal
  • basketball
  • ping pong
  • badminton
  • bowling
  • handball
  • volleyball
  • hockey
  • netball , etc

The event aims to achieve the following objectives:-

  • Promoting healthy lifestyle among Malaysian undergraduates in Russia.
  • Providing a platform for students from different Universities to interact.
  • Producing students who are well equipped intellectually, emotionally as well as physically.
  • Sports as the melting pot of integration for all these Malaysian undergraduates in Russia.
  • Promote co-operation among the Universities.

PARTICIPATING UNIVERSITIES

They are 7 main universities participating in this event. A formal invitation letter will be sent to these particular universities by the Head of Kursk Games committee with the approval of administration of   Kursk State Medical University and further notification to Malaysian Embassy in Russia   :
